sunshine on my sheets

We're in a busy time at work, and I've got the night shift (again, some more). I had  the night shift in February and it was horrible. But this time it's not bothering me nearly so much. In fact, I come home just a bit before sunrise, and when I wake up, my room's all sunny. It feels nicely decadent, like summers in high school when I'd sleep past ( Read more... )

I had a time when work really sucked - and wonderful things came out of that darkness! I'm sure everything will be magically better for you soon, too! Hang in there!

Thanks for the encouragement. I'm guessing that entry must have sounded whinier than I meant it to.
What do you do, if you don't mind me asking? I'm getting real life confused with internet life and imagining you as an editor for a publishing house. (If you do mind me asking, I completely understand.)

I do public relations at a big government agency. It should be fun, but right now we've got so much going on that it's just plain old hard.

Hey!! How are you!? (Figuring that many people assume that's a rhetorical question and don't answer, I went and looked at your journal and read your banking entry. Is that fixed? Did you write a terse letter expressing your extreme disappointment? I've found that to be both cathartic and financially sound -- I got the hotel I stayed at in D.C. to refund me more than I actually paid them.)
