How about the percentage of each group? I'd like to know the percentage of women characters that actually survived the show. In that sense, I think your math isn't quite accurate. If you take the group of women as a whole and the group of men as a whole, and calculate the percentages that way, how do the deaths compare

Yeah. Like I said in my ... I guess disclaimers after the tally ... I know this isn't the whole story, but I don't have the wherewithal to try and count up the total number of female characters on the show and the total number of male characters. But if someone else does that, I will certainly bow to whatever they find out. This was the best I could reasonably do

And thank you for doing our fandom a great service by watching and tallying the death count. I get really annoyed with people that claim the show hates women. So bravo to you for going out of your way to back up your opinion--which I agree with, BTW :)

Hey you! I was just thinking about you the other day. Here I was thinking, I haven't seen anything from Jen in a long time ... but of course, that's because I haven't been reading my friends page for the past few months. Like I said, it had gotten kind of tedious. But it meant that I missed out on people like you!

I'm doing good enough. I'm actually off this week until Friday, so I'm awesome through Thursday. Last chance before things get really crazy through the end of the year. I'm actually going to start going to Russia for work. Ugh. For 23 days. Double ugh. But the first cool front is here and I'm still in bed at ... 10:30. So all's good for now.

At least you get some time off--how awesome! I'm doing all right. I moved into a condo townhouse a few months ago and got to paint--it's so nice to have a place of my own :) Still writing of course. ohhh very cool. I don't really agree with the argument that Supernatural is misogynistic either...it's a horror show lol, ppl die (and most of the reoccurring female character that have been presented have been very proud, independent, kick ass women)
