Black Friday.  Bah.

I'm at the bar with some PBRs, my smokes, and a laptop.  I can simultaneously grade schoolwork, slam beers, chain smoke Camels, edit photographs, get lost in the Wiki-hole, and book gigs.  I am uber-slacker.

The wife and kids have trudged off into the rainy madness, searching for that elusive half-off item that was advertised.  Me

I think you have to work harder on the "slacker" part. You ruined that image the moment you mentioned schoolwork.

Have you read the "new" Kerouac/Burroughs novel (And the Hippos Were Boiled in The Tanks) that was finally published a couple years ago? Interesting insights into their mindset years before they ever published anything major.

In related news, i hear that new movie HOWL is pretty rad. These beatniks seem to pop up their heads every once in a while, reminding me that i take shit way too seriously.
