The prologue is mostly there to give a quick recap of the previous story and a quick entrance into the story. I hope you do keep reading and would love to hear what you think of the rest.

I have spent the entire today reading up on Dreaming in Cordite just because I hate not knowing how a story really begins. I might not be able to finish this one today, given the word count. Yikes! But I will say this... I totally adore the world you have created. It's so action packed and Winchester *cough* is a total badass. I am going to savor reading this one word by every-last-of 66,666 word. Plus, I'm trying to guess Jared's street name before I begin. Erm, Sasquatch? Smith? Wesson? Maybe I should just read to find out LOL

Wow, cool. It is a fairly large chunk of story, I admit. The editing phase alone added another 21,000 words to it that I didn't manage to get done before the due date, so I completely understand splitting it up into more than one day.

I'm glad you like the world, and yes, Winchester is a total badass! :) I think you'll like Jared's street name, it kinda sticks with a naming scheme, but I have to admit that I didn't go with Smith or Wesson.

I'd love to hear what you think about Gunmetal Dawn when you do get to the end. :)
