Congrats on getting this done! Does this mean you can finally get those damn pirates out of your head?

I wish... There's a sequel that needs to be written. I'm taking it that you didn't read it... I need to finish the two boy's stories. But I'm happy with the way this turned out.

I have not read it, and probably won't, for various reasons, though you know thats me. This weekend is me rushing through Zoo City for Book Club on Wednesday.

Hi, I was reading the second chapter and then I saw something that made me stop (in a good way). At the end you're talking about a city called La Rochelle, that's where I was born and still live! Imagine my surprise, that's so awesome thank you!
You're story is good so far. It'll probably take me days to finish it though ^^

*grin* Glad you liked. I'm not entirely sure where I picked the name from but I'm glad it struck a nerve with you. Hope you enjoyed the rest of the story.

My only problem, when I finished it, was I wanted more. I see from the comments that there will be more. THANK YOU!!

I'm in the middle of moving, and every spare minute I've had has been reading this story. No, this novel. When you get the sequels posted, you really need to consider having it published! This was captivating!

I loved the rich detail, and the depth of the characters. You made them come to life. You made them believable. You have much talent and imagination, and I look forward to more from you! *hugs*

Hope your move went okay.

I'm really glad that you liked it. I appreciate you letting me know. I had so much fun doing the research and writing the story, although it was right down to the wire.

I'm plotting and planning the next part. Hopefully will be starting it soon.

I generally try not to read the comments and just say what pops into my head.

However, while looking for a place to leave my comment, I did read a few others.

The desire for a sequel seems an overwhelming consensus.

I was drawn to this to this because of the pirates and English connections.

Your time spent on research shows. The authentic details set this piece apart from other fanfic.

You would have to diddle with the main characters, but I can see you selling this story.

Oh, the first I thought when I finished the story, "No! I need more!"

I loved doing research on both Pirates and the pre-Nelson Navy. Actually, finding out info on Pirates was really easy, but pre-Nelson Navy is really find to find information on.

I've loved pirates for ages and this story has been kicking around the back of my brain for a while now. It clicked into place with Adam and Kris as the main characters and just worked. I'm so glad that you enjoyed it. :)
