I knew it was coming. I could feel it in the air. Thick, murky, and no good whatsoever ( Read more... )

Admit it, its the zombie gators that depress you. lizzie_borden August 22 2007, 13:30:27 UTC
I have to second the whiney post vote. I don't mind listening to what ails you. And whether or not we have any good advice (although your list ALWAYS does) it's always really helpful (for me anyway) to just vent it all and then make jokes in poor taste about it.

Actually, the zombie gators would be sort of.... pleasing. In a "feed my enemies to them" kind of way.

I may vent and joke about it all later. Right now, I'm just thinking of crawling back into bed and hiding for a little while.

Hiding works too, but be careful, you'll have a hard time crawling back out once you get comfy.

True. Plus, hiding doesn't actually do anything about the problem, so it never gets better. Dammit.

You know I don't mind taking a trip to Funkytown. I am already there.

We need to find the first bus out of Funkytown and get the heck back to Pleasantville. Or Happy Village. Basically anywhere that does not have the funk. The funk is bad.

you need to put on some funk music and get down til you feel better. who can be bummed out listening to george clinton & parliament funkadelic?

at least that's my suggestion. or drive to NOLA and hang out for a while.

Heh :) I did consider watching PCU, which has them playing near the end. I think that's as close as I get to having any funk music around here. It is bouncy and happy, though.

Believe me, with the way I've felt last night and today, I probably would just gas up the car and head that way, except I have to puppy-sit while the parentals are up in Washington.

You were a Catagory 5, Tropical Depression Hurricane around this time ;). Just Kidding. Impressive though. A hurricane with your name with such intensity...what the funk? hehehe. Of course, I thought of you when I heard it on the news and I equated it as if it could have really been you on the inside from everything in the past, that you turned into a major hurricane. Maybe that's how you really felt once. I know, crazy, but now hopefully you feel better now.

I went and looked up all the hurricanes with my name. Totally no where near as impressive. Oh well...
