I leave for California again today.
I've been up since 7am tying up all my loose ends. If only that phrase were as easy as it sounds on a keyboard.

LAX. Even the letters make me anxious.

Two Sundays ago my dear friend Joel Dowling graduated from St John's Law School.
Who would have thought you might ask?
I would never, as he's always been a driven man for as long as I've known him..
Needless to say I was honored when asked to attend his graduation ceremony.

I went to the Dr's Office today to treat my burn (more about that later) and had to weigh in.
There was a sticker on the scale that said "Think of it as your IQ level"
I commented to the nurse on its sheer greatness.. to which she replied that she was "damn near a genius".
