Dear Dean,

They look like stickers that some high school girl going through a goth phase would put on her notebook or folder or something. Maybe that they were Sam's idea explains a lot, but that's still no excuse. It's the tech equivalent of drawing on the Metallicar! (I'll ignore the part where you decided to try to shoot rock salt at your laptop.)

That said, I do agree about the gross sticky residue things. If I might humbly offer a little advice to you: sticky tape works wonders at picking those things off, with the right technique. Works 99.95% of the time. =)

Also, they're kinda like reading Proust in a coffee shop--even if you're reading that shit upside down, chicks are gonna come over and talk to you. And, if you're not completely retarded like my brother here, you'll actually put the book down.
Huh. Good thing I'm a girl, then. ;)
