business cards

i want to make interesting little business cards. i'm contacting a couple printing companies to see if they'd do reduced rates / service trade for special printing (i don't want yr usual white paper black ink cards). i don't have quark. how do i design business cards in ms word? i'm not sure how to do it. i know i want them to be fairly simple

anything but comic sans or curlz mt, basically. ;)
