Oh, I feel the same about them too! And I think the triangle is inevitably eternal, but the one thing the finale gives me (apart from big fat tears for Jen!) is a feeling that they're all secure within their roles now. I feel confident that they all know where they stand and are OK with it. Pacey and Joey are together and friends with Dawson, and Joey and Dawson still have their soulmate thing without the romance. Joey's running away from herself is something Pacey learns to live with, but it all works out OK in the end. In my world anyway xD

I'm so glad you liked the History Boys one! It's been a while since I watched the film so I didn't really have their voices in my head, but I did my best :)
