Cosplay Week

Mere, Megan and Laura came North to visit me and work on cosplay stuffs! Lol, however we ended up having a little more fun than we were supposed to..which meant that I didn't get as much finished as I had planned. :P

when i did foam armor, it turned out fairly well. I'm not sure how you went about it, but i sealed mine with glue after getting it to the shape i wanted, and then painted it with spray paint. But mine also called for rub n buff on top of that. I never had paint chip off, but it did craze, or warp a little where the foam got knocked into and bent.

I do like working with foam, I just need to figure out the right glue mixture so it's still bendable. I think what ruined me was when I used mod podge and it got really stiff. I used rub n buff on another project and that turned out much nicer. :)

I still think I am a fan of leather, but foam is still great for cheaper projects.
