Umm.
Complete non-violence if I remember rightly. Down to being careful to not accidently inhale insects while running about.
Jains are worshipers of Jina (one who overcomes), and Jainism is derivative of the larger Hindu cosmology much in the same manner as Buddhism. Jainism is usually characterised as a syncretic(hate that term!)religion derived from both Hinduism and Buddhism sharing characteristics with both. Espesh the 'conquering of inner negatives and achieve enlightenment' bit.
Generally vegetarians or even eating only that which does not kill the bearer - ie: milk, nuts and seeds (no carrots then I guess)
Also shares most of the tenets of Buddhism - no stealing, no adultrey, truth etc.

Hope that helps!

On another note (small sticky stripped yellow)
I've been up Carlton hill all day practicing for the Beltaine fire festival. Much semi-naked fire prancing and faunicating puppets.
Kept expecting to see you :)
Much love,
- Von
