Ada is in the garden, near where some roses grow up against a wall. She is looking towards the flowers, though not at them, and is rubbing a leaf absently between her fingers. What she is thinking of is anyone's guess, though the picture she presents is far more pretty than pensive.

Typist: If I only knew what was up with Richard, I'd send over Tom.

Typist: I hope it won't interfere with their new found cuteness.

Ragnelle reaches out and holds one in her hand, the blossom spread on her palm and the stem between her fingers. "Are fair, these."

"Oh-- yes," she agrees, startled. She had not noticed Ragnelle's arrival.

"The late roses." She looks up and smiles at Ada. "How art thou?"

"I am well, thank you, ma'am," she says. "How are you?"

Richard hesitates when he sees her. He looks sad, and tired, still dressed in his Norse clothing, though no flowers in his hair. He's also been freed from the Gentleman with thistle-down hair's enchantment, which is a less visible but perhaps more noticeable change, at least for Ada.

Sooner or later, Ada turns. The change in him works a far more visible change in her: the very moment she sees him her face is aglow, her eyes bright with a light they have not held since the gentleman's spell.

"Richard!"

"Ada," his voice breaks a bit, as he sees her so radiant.

"You've come back." Obviously. But she suddenly she is unsure of what else to say.
