My first concert...
I got to go see Tyler Kyte! If you don't know who he is, he plays a character on the show Instant Star (which is on The N, if you get that channel, and it's a Canadian show). Really, it was my sister, Maria, who is the huge fan...
She's been a fan since the show started, and since he left to work on his own music. I heard only a few of his songs (which I like) and listened to Maria obsess over him, but I didn't REALLY know him too well.
The concert itself was a free show at a sports memorabilia store in Brooklyn.
When I went there it was not as crowded as I thought it would be (being a small place already) but it was AWESOME! He was really great live! It was just him and a guitar, although for one song he asked a girl from the audience, and they were great together. ^_^ Maria was really calm, but when he asked everyone to sing, she knew all the songs. I was so happy for her that she got to see her favorite artist. Even more so, Tyler really put on a great show and was pretty hilarious when he was talking in between his songs. xD
After the show, we got to meet him and take pictures (ok, I was the one taking the pictures) and sign stuff. He was super nice and a very down-to-earth person-which made us like him even more. One of his bandmates from his other band Sweet Thing was also there (Morgan? I can't remember) and was also really nice. We talked to them for a while! Overall, it was a great show, they were really cool, and I'd definitely go to one of their concerts if they're in the States again.
So thanks a lot, Maria. You turned me into a fan. ^_^

Maria and Tyler! Maria was surprisingly calm when meeting him, and he was so sweet to us. I can't get over how nice both of those guys were. Too bad this one didn't come out that good-my mom didn't really know how to use it.
Maria and Morgan! Maria's pretty tall, but both of those guys are TALL! So you can imagine how I felt, haha.
...And here's the only photo I'm in! (I'm the one wearing the black and red striped dress.) Why does it look like I'm wearing a huge red feathery wig? xD
