Rest in peace, Miyuki Kanbe (1984-2008)
Oh my God, I can't believe it...
Today I just found out (even though it happened a little more than a week ago) that Miyuki Kanbe, the third Sailor Moon in Sera Myu (the Japanese Sailor Moon musical) died of heart failure. She was only 24.
It makes me sad to say she wasn't my favorite Sailor Moon, and I'll admit her voice was not my favorite for a few of the songs (only for some, I have to say that all the others from the musical are just Miyuki songs to me, like Fire!). The weird thing is, she began to grow on me last week - I favorited a bunch of MiyukiMoon videos on YouTube.
Also, I was going to work on her picture first, because I planned on drawing pictures of all the Sailor Moon's (Anza, Fumina, Miyuki and Marina) in Sera Myu. Seems redundant, but it's more like drawing a realistic pic of Sailor Moon. Now I'm gonna get to that picture instead of the many Dethklok ones I was going to work on, provided my eye strain gets better. My eyes hurt as it is, but I had to post this-because I'm a huge nerd for Sera Myu, and it's horrible she had to die so young.
In my opinion, Miyuki had the personality for Sailor Moon. She was bubbly, energetic, and she could be a serious Sailor Moon when needed. She seemed to love playing the role, and she did it so well. You will be missed, Miyuki- definitely a true Sailor Moon.
