Wow. I'm terribly sorry to hear that. Theatre is amazing good fun when you're passionate about it, and it sounds like you are. It also sounds like you're dealing with it very maturely and that is impressive. The last time anything like that has happened to me was when I was in junior high, though. It's not even the same sort of situation, but till this day I'm a little disappointed. I went to a small school and the teacher picked by popularity. The people who didn't have the brains to memorize lines were given lead roles and the entire thing was just so poorly put together. It ended up to be fun, somehow, but I still think it was ridiculous. I haven't auditioned for anything since high school started, but I'm afraid I may be forced to audition for this year's musical. The director of the drama department likes my voice and he's been on my tail about it since i was a freshmen. I don't think he'll need to force me, though
