May 03, 2010 16:21

It's time for another installment of Cohdopian notes. The hardest part about writing Cohdopian Notes is that there's so much I want to say about Cohdopia, it's hard to condense it into such a brief missive! But I'll do my best ( Read more... )

Whoa, fancy coupon you got there. It's really...sharp!

But too bad it's not for another one of your tasty sandwiches.

Thank you very much, Detective Gumshoe! It's all Ms. Teneiro's doing; I can't claim any credit, except perhaps for the idea of collaborating.

Oh, the web coupon from last time will be good until I post another online coupon, Detective, so you can certainly have another sandwich, if you like.

That coupon is most charming. More yellow and a heart here and there and it would be worthy of framing!

If memory serves me right, I put on a performance at that embassy many moons ago with the rest of my troupe. The orange drink served backstage tasted sweeter than the audience's applause!

Thank you very much, Mr Gramarye, though I can't take the credit for the coupon. That goes to the talented Ms. Rhoda Teneiro.

Ah yes, Cohdopian oranjaade! The secret is a dash of the juice of bergamot oranges, which gives it its distinctive flavor. I'm very glad you enjoyed it. We currently serve oranjaade here at the Cohdopian Café in the embassy.

You are correct, you did perform here once. Sadly, it was at a time when I was obligated to be in Cohdopia for reasons of diplomacy, so I was unable to witness the event, but I hear it was quite the performance!

Ahahahaha! Is this a joke? Because that has got to be the ugliest thing I've ever seen!

It's like a clown puked all over it!

No, it's not a joke. Ms. Teneiro worked very hard on that coupon, and she is a professional designer.

It's simply--avant garde, perhaps!

I know it's terribly rude to intrude, but I take great offense to your comment.

I think your coupon is quite lovely and your design bold and innovative, Ms. Teneiro.

I'm not artistic myself, but from what I understand, many pioneers in the arts have faced ridicule, so please don't take it to heart, my dear.

Wow that coupon is... it's really bright.

But that Primidux holiday sounds pretty fun! Can I come see the embassy when it happens? I bet my little cousin Pearl would really like it!

Yes, yes, very vivid and--eyecatching! Which I suppose is good for a coupon meant to attract attention in a publication. Thank you very much.

Primidux day is certainly fun for all ages, especially children--I can attest to that. We will be having celebrations at the embassy when the day comes, so do feel free to visit and bring your cousin. We'd be delighted!
