I now technically have a step mother and four step siblings. Slightly surreal, but not really. I guess because the whole thing is so distanced. It would feel a lot more intense if they moved down here with my Dad. But since he's still living down here on Mondays Tuesdays and Wednesdays it just feels like he's going up to NY on the weekend to see

Zehava's first name is actually Wendy but she prefers her middle name.

My dad also has a Jewish name, it's Yahuskel. I think that one sounds pretty spiffy.
