Jormungandr has been very seriously considering murdering all the drones at his job and burning down the building. He just doesn't see the point in all the paper that does nothing but have words that are meaningless but all the drones act like it's the most important thing in the world. They don't seem to understand that in a thousand years no one

[ Ilsa is dressed for the office, though she does not work in the same building as Jormungandr. ]

[ She sits on a bench a few yards away, watching him, but not in a hostile way. Her attitude is more like that of a lifeguard, but one that knows everyone present can swim. ]

[ She shrugs, and with a gesture that could be "goodbye" or "welcome", depending on how you look at it, leaves him to the pond. ]

[He just turns back to look out at the water. Despite all of its inadequacies, it's still the closest thing he has to home.]
