am frustrated with my supervisor who is challenged to multitask effectively. her lack of oversight leaves me with no one to cover my position for breaks and lunch. grrrrrrr. now i can fend for myself, but in the grandiose atmosphere of academia where i have placed myself, to ask anyone to cover for me may be fodder for meanness

Breaks? Lunch? What are these words you use?

Yeah, I really don't get those either since I'd either have to take them ass early, or, you know, there's just too damn much to do and not nearly enough people to do it.
