Oh, thank you, thank you! This is just perfect! I love how you've sketched an outline of his life and trusted the reader to read between the lines, so that by the last scene what they are saying... is not what I'm hearing *g* Gah! I'm incoherent with happiness, I hope that made sense?

And can I add that I love how you've drawn Richard's history, with his encounters with the Stargate programme really changing him and the way he comes to understand the rules both overt and covert. And the easy, slow way he finds a relationship with Sheppard that's outside of the rules they're bound by, but in accord with his own honour.... *runs out of words, hugs you tight*

I just love Richard, even back when he was a dick. :) This is lovely, reminiscent and kind of melancholy--i'm glad the shep got him to go wild and have some fun.

*g* I have to admit I'm usually a McShep shipper, but I have been seeing Sheppard/Woolsey a lot more recently.

Gosh yes. Although given how little we know about Wraith physiology, I haven't a clue how it would work. But they're awesome together.

You did a good job showing the progression of Richard's relationship with rules. I like that it was Pegasus and John who finally made him rebel a little. :)
