Ellen - you know how I love ee cummings, so I'm majorly in support of the poem! In fact, you are just the type of beautiful person who would choose cummings for a wedding! *gush*

As far as the Bible verse goes, there seem to be an inordinate amount of people who use verses from Genesis or the Colossians for weddings. But, how about Philippians 4:8-9? I think it's wedding-appropriate and it is New Testament...

{8. Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
9. Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.}

If you dislike this one, let me know and I can keep thinking. Luck! :)

I'm freaking out because I love you very much. As I was writing that post, I almost typed "Kristen, I'm looking at you" but then I thought it would make people feel bad and not respond. Like I need them anyway. I shouldn't even speak without you clearing the words first.

So that sounds pretty damn perfect, at least to me, and Steve likes it, so we're going to run it by my church lady mother and his preacher man father, and then you get all the credit.

Brillance. Brilliant!
