You aren't familiar with telephones? I'm not actually in here, but it's a communication device. So you can communicate with people around the neighborhoods.

Well, everyone that's here apparently. I wouldn't say you can talk to just anyone. But you can get in contact with those in this neighborhood, which is helpful.

So it doesn't choose who it kidnaps? That's kinda weird. What if it kidnaps the hero by accident?

Well it either does, or just likes plucking random people from here and there.

I'm pretty sure it has ways to make it so the hero...can't do hero things.

That's right. They can't. I don't know how they did it, but people with special powers don't seem to really have them here? I'm not sure if we can get them back if that's the case.
