I love the way you write it so simply but manage to put so much subtext to everything. That's sort of what their entire relationship is like. Simple with a lot of subtext, and you capture it beautifully.

Yeah, their friendship is the most important thing here. I feel like, within the group they have the second best friendship (after Troy and Abed, because really, how do you beat that?) and I really like to play that up.

Because this little bubble of security we had built around ourselves burst at the beginning of the year and I feel like it’s my fault. And I feel like everyone else thinks it’s my fault. And maybe I really would like at least one part of my life not to be a complete joke.

SO TRUE. Annie's definitely taken a bit of a beating this season. Which does suck because she's maybe my favorite character and I want to punch anyone that hurts her but if it's ACTUALLY going somewhere on the show then it could be an interesting thing.
