i think if you want to think of it in the way of reincarnation, then yes trees have souls, because they were once something else, they probably aren't aware of it, and no one else will be either, but its possible only the tree knows for sure, or they might not even know.

but if you ask me, i doubt it.
but if you ask pocahontas, she'll probably say yeah.
