He's of several opinions on it. For one, he's not sure if either of you are really dead, even having been there for Spitfire's message. On the other hand, here both of you are, claiming that yes, you ARE dead and it's some magc of the environment. ... And honestly, in a place with zombies and vampires running around, who's Yoshi to say it's impossible. Still, part of why he updated both of them was to try and get a feel of where THEY were... Yoshitune, regardless if they are dead or alive, regardless of who betrayed who and who killed who, he's going to work for Genesis, because he has bigger, more personal things riding on it. Yeah, he's very likely to turn on Genesis, and hell, he'd love to, but he's not going to do it until the GS tournament because, frankly, he's not an idiot either. Sora and Nike are more than confident enough to split up their forces and JUST NIKE walking into the Kansai could decimate a huge part of their riders, likely without even trying. They're under HIS trident, they're HIS boys, and they aren't up for

Man. All right, I'll have to take them as separate people with no ties to each other, and no leg damage. Because even in separate bodies but being AKITO AND AGITO. There would be no contest. Agito would cede before it even started. But. As Fang King to Fang King? Akito hands down no contest. We don't actually see Akito's style, but he's easily more powerful than Agito is in my opinion. Just Akito helping a little bit boosts Agito incredibly.. also, Akito has an incredible eye for battle, weaknesses. He's practical, level headed, and will very likely wear Agito down long before he starts putting real force into a hit. Because they both have a time limit, but the runner who keeps his energy to the last stretch is the one who wins the race, you know? Akito's that type, while Agito will try to do a one hit kill, all of his power into getting it over with as fast as possible. They're both valid styles, but Akito's exploits Agito's weakness, whereas Agito's style can't easily handle someone who can keep up dodging him.

The last few months, honestly, I've been sitting with him on the backburner hard waiting for inspiration to strike, or to get around to a canon review, or hell, OKU PUT HIM BACK IN THE MANGA. There was one sign at least, of something invisible attacking, but probably too large to have been Nishi (The kyoto arc is kind of blehhh)

He's still one of my biggest favorites, and honestly, even seeing a hint of him in the manga now makes me crow and force the chapter on others. But I've had him for coming up on three years now, not only may I be a little played out, but I feel where he's developed may be too far from canon, which is why I KEEP HOLDING OUT and hoping for confirmation or a match.

At the moment, I'm really considering letting him go, so that someone else can pick him up and do a better job. Except he's my baby bastard and it'll kill me to do it.
