in a world without money we would still have a barter system like we had before we had money.
what I'm trying to say is people have always been greedy and self-minded, and they will continue to be because it is in their nature and they have no incentive to grow or change. (unless of course you are paying them to do so...)
sooo, what if...death__awaitsSeptember 27 2008, 18:26:37 UTC
we decided to banish money all together and use stamps instead. You had to collect stamps and exchange them for goods that one needed through the internet store. Where the government owns ONE STORE ONLY that has everything you could imagine...just not a surplus of resturaunts and businesses.
The only way one could recieve a stamp is through doing an act of kindness for someone else.
so let's say you were like HEY, i need help building my house. so you ask a builder to help, and you stamp them...idk. 3 times? they take those stamps and mail them into the government and the government sends back whatever you've asked for.
it's slightly comunist...but i think it could work. Use stamps of kindness instead of money.
