Ned rolled over and promptly got a mouthful of long hair. Somewhere in the back of his mind, he knew that wasn't right but he was still asleep so he just brushed it away. When that hair fell back in his face and started tickling his nose, Ned came awake a little and brushed it away irritably

Kaylee came wandering down to tap on his door. Of course she didn't think anything was wrong, yet. She just wanted him to wake up and make her strawberry pancakes.

She was just about to knock when she heard the weird little yelp from in there.

"Ned?" she called through the door.

"Um." He thought about telling Kaylee that he wasn't here but she'd been through this before too. "Um. It's...open."

She peeked in and immediately frowned. "Why's there a girl in your room?" she called, thinking maybe he was in the bathroom.

She eyed the girl suspiciously.

Kaylee was not that bright sometimes.

"I'm supposed to be here," he said, looking nervous and trying to shove hands into pockets that didn't exist on his pajama pants.
