The room Ned was staying in seemed almost too big for just him and Digby. But, he'd decided that he'd earned a treat by graduating, working all summer and then managing to leave without becoming a weeping mess. It was with a very literal bounce that Kaylee found her way to Ned's room, after leaving the island by portal earlier. And as she reached the room, she did something she rarely ever did: she checked her reflection in a nearby mirror.

Look, she hadn't seen him in like forever! She had to be her prettiest.

And with that confirmation, she bounced on her toes as she rapped on his door.

With the knowledge that he hadn't ordered room service, Ned figured that could only really be one person. So, he scrambled over to the door and pulled it open.

"Hi, you're here!" he said, barely disguised glee in his voice.

And as soon as the door opened, Kaylee flung herself at him with a squeak of pure, unadulterated joy. "I'm here!"
