1.5 out of 2 ain't bad.

From what I hear, Tarantino made his half that way intentionally just to stay true to the classic grindhouse style where most of the B movies were pretty much so/so B movies.

Still amped to see it tonight though.

First half was awesome and captivating yes. Second half had a lot of wierd storyline and build up, but I could appreciate the B movie-ness about it. Cheesy as hell. Which I loved.
