It figured. The first thing he saw wasn't his decimated brother, it was his no-good father.

"Mom," he acknowledged shortly, hands in pockets as he stepped forward to examine his brother. Damn, this didn't look good at all, and he wasn't sure if he could entirely fix it with alchemy. His knowledge of mechanics wasn't all that good. He scowled, as was his norm.

"... Blackout?" he asked, but there was no visible response.

No response from Blackout, perhaps, but Scorponok emerged from around the main bulk of Blackout's body, his pincers spinning idly. "Come come come to help?" he asked, his generally fairly enthusiastic voice subdued.

And this is Eros watching from afar, not happy to see Rufus but not wanting to upset Blackout by causing a scene. She sighs, presses her back to the door and folds her arms, looking tired, worried, heavy hearted. He'd decided that he no longer liked not being in control.

The narrowed eyes Eros offered in returned should've been indication enough that Eros was seething as well. It was taking every ounce of the goddess's will not to stalk right over and strangle the life out of her mother-in-law.

Tieria sat a little way off from everyone else, surrounded by various items brought along to fix Blackout. Diagnostic machines, link wires, various sensors and spare parts all crowded around him. He was leaning on a large toolbox, roughly a metre high and stuffed to bursting with wrenches, screwdrivers, huge drills - all manner of mechanical monstrosities.

Edward hadn't seen Tieria arrive, but when he did notice, he almost did a double take at all the machinery around him. Ah well, good. Tieria probably knew better than him when it came to how Blackout worked.

He raised a hand in greeting when he thought Tieria was looking in their direction.

Motoko had come out of the house a little later than she meant to, but she kept a wary eye on Scorponok as she approached Tieria as well. Currently, he was over by Eros, but how much longer that would remain, depended on if he considered them a threat.

Tieria had been glancing over at Edward and Rufus occasionally, but it was more to keep and eye on them than anything else. Despite being related, he really didn't trust his grandmother. It was something about the way Rufus seemed to treat Blackout like he was just another machine.

He didn't have anything against Edward personally, but the fact that he was doing what Rufus told him to in regards to Blackout made him feel less than kind towards him. He looked away pointedly as Edward tried to greet him, and started tapping away at a schematic on his PDA.

He looked up as Motoko approached, and moved over a little so that she could sit down next to him.
