She paused outside the room the receptionist had told her they'd put Blackout in. "You...sure you wanna do this...?" she asked hesitantly, without much hope he'd change his mind at the last minute.

There was a man asleep in the first bed, and the second looked like it had been occupied until recently, the occupant out of the room for some tests. Mikaela pushed Tieria to the end of the room, ducking around the screen and out of sight of the rest of the room.
The Decepticon was awake, and definitely looked better than when she and 'Bee had brought him here--his eyes still looked a touch sunken, but someone had washed his hair and he was clean-shaven. He turned his head slowly to look at them, then narrowed his eyes and pointedly looked away again.

Tieria waited anxiously as he was wheeled to where Blackout was positioned. He wondered if the Decepticon would be angry that he had come to visit. Would he remember everything, and be happy? (Perhaps happy was too strong a word.)
What greeted him seemed to be neither; instead, it was cold indifference. And somehow, that was worst of all.
"...Blackout?"
