Watched Der müde Tod last night. It is an extremely appropriate film to watch for young lovers. I was really amazed by how much visual quoting there was of vanitas still life, fairy tales, and myth. Wonderful, wonderful film. I can't remember which Grimm tale has the room with all the candles of different lengths, representing the flickering

This is one of the best films ever made, and one of the best pieces of German Expressionism. I could watch this film for days.
