Tempest

Full fathom five thy father lies;
Of his bones are coral made;
Those are pearls that were his eyes;
Nothing of him that does fade,
But doth suffer a sea-change
Into something rich and strange.

I'm going to read it over the weekend! I'm predicting that Freud has a very different take on it than me. :) It makes me think of cabinets of curiosity, shipwrecks, and reliquaries.

Haha! That's great, especially: "Some may find it rather strange/But not old Fred, he likes the change," and "Snug as a mouse in an apple pie/(Till the arrival of some other guy)."

I'd like to illustrate this one. Something exquisite about the detail of a ghost floating around two feet off the ground.
