Nice, it's be interesting to see the originals, I don't think I've ever seen a silverpoint drawing in RL. Is it similiar to drawing with a pencil?

It's similar to drawing with a very hard pencil. You can't really erase-- well, you can a little, but who wants to waste silver? In order for the silver to show up, you usually have to use a gouache wash on the paper first before starting the drawing. It's an interesting medium. If you've seen very old drawings that look like pencil (from the Renaissance), they're actually silverpoint or metalpoint. By the 18th century silverpoint had more or less fallen out of favor. You can also draw with gold, and it doesn't tarnish.
