Just when I think things are better, when everything is okay, something has to happen and blow it all. Am I just not meant to be happy? Why, damnit, why? The only thing I want, the absolute only thing, and it happens to everyone else but me. For two years I've tried so hard. Done everything so right. But no. I want to know how you are. I called you Sat. nite to see if you and Michael wanted to go to the Stars game...DJ sang the national anthem..did a great job..I didn't want to sit thru the game alone, but I think I would like to go to one this summer...looks like a pleasant way to waste several hours if the weather's good. Call me or something just to let me know both of you are still alive. Love, Mom
