Have realised while in conversation with a friend that rave music was, essentially, a pesticide developed to exterminate those goths that survived the end of the 80s ( Read more... )

Hey. Good to see you the other night. And see you perform, too, it'd been a while. We might have to talk about your guitar technique, mind :) :)

Mucking about with PaulStretch, I remembered it was you who pointed me in the direction of that application. As you also pointed me in the direction of Anathem by Neal Stephenson, which I probably would have missed (as well as a pile of other stuff by him) as I hadn't liked Cryptonomicon. Have you read Seveneves yet? Bad things happen to the Navy of my country of origin in it -it's not a big spoiler, this, it's only marginally incidental in the book but I found it funny.

Yeah, about guitar technique.. :) :)

You can actually get rid of Steampunks and Cybers by breeding them together, but guess what you get?
