Like wishing that he could jump at Reita’s back and demand that he carry him up the stairs to their shared apartment piggy-back style, because he was damn too tired from practice and his legs hurt like bitch. Or like dragging Reita into an ice cream parlor somewhere and enjoy seven-layered ice creams and try to see who finishes first, where the loser treats the winner to another seven-layered ice cream the next day. Or like racing up the hill back home in Kanagawa barefoot, then jumping over the small cliff and splashing down into the cold clear waters of Lake Miwa, and then arguing over who gets to hold his breath the longest.
