Where's the AIDs?

Statistics say approximately 1 in 4 people have AIDs, but I've never (knowingly) met or knew anyone with AIDs in my life. So that leaves me wondering, where is the AIDs? Do you have AIDs? Or do you know people who have AIDs? I'm further intrigued by the number of people who might have AIDs and not even know it, and if they do, I wonder how many ( Read more... )

you have to remember that there are consentrated areas of people with aids. africa being one of them. i don't know what the number of people in africa that have aids is, but i promise it's a lot more than 1 in 4...so than you come to the us and it's a lot less than 1 in 4. so here, especially in oklahoma you can live your life and never meet anyone that has aids or atleast that will admit to having aids. while if you went over to africa you couldn't throw a stone and NOT hit someone with aids.

Ya, I agree with that, thats just what happens when I'm watching tv by my computer and a commercial comes on about aids.
