I think I did get something from them but I didn't get a chance to look at it, last time I was home mom said something about a letter and I forgot about it before leaving, it was about a show?

Yeah, an alumni show... they're asking people to send in work, even ship it (which I would be a little afraid to do, really)... I'd like to send something, but framing/packing/shipping costs would be a little much for what it is. So oh well. You should check it out though.

It turns out my letter is now part of the great garbage pile in the.....well, where-ever they take trash back home, my parents did apparently chunk it. Still, I need to get on ball and do some paintings for local galleries here anyway, it turns out I know somebody in the know/with-connections here, so either way I am going to be slinging paint. How did the 60's show go by the way?

I was pretty excited when I saw the trailer, even tho it is going to be more of a kiddy movie like the Mothra films were, it at least paves the way for a Mazinger or Getter Robo film down the road, which they HAVE to be planning since they already did Cutey Honey and Devilman flicks. Basically, I just want to see giant old school robots trashing cities in any form, not even Gwyneth Paltrow's shitty acting can ruin that it would seem.

Well, I haven't actually read anything about Getter or Mazinger films officially in production, just saying that with 2 Go Nagai films already out there and the legions of fans across the world for his robot franchises, it's good odds that they will be made eventually. I haven't seen the Cutey or Devilman yet but read that CH = wacky fun whereas DVMN = PS2 CG and models instead of actors and no plot, which just figures doesn't it.
