Because, as you said... obviously not a problem. It's the same reason I'd worry about my daughter watching the little mermaid because the main character just constantly disobeys her father and gets everything she dreamed she would in the end.

It's a magical device. And it will bounce my checking account until tomorrow, so I have to wait. It basically has tons and tons of effects and the axes on the pad control the amount of effect on the signal you run through it. so by doodling around on the little pad you can make two different 'things' happen to any sound you pass through it. You can also loop sounds you pass through it. it's basically aural sex.

Next I'm having David Boggs build me an effects-loop router which will have a toggle allowing me to change my signal path. I'll be able to bounce from putting a line 6 DL-4 before the kaoss pad or putting the kaoss pad before the dl-4 with the touch of a button. the looping/sampling/effecting possibilities are mind-boggling

I try not to. But it's the principle. It's just as bad as men watching tons of movies about vigilantism and revenge and starting to think that it's a sound, ideal, and awesome way to go about things. It manifests itself in little ways... in guys being stupid.

Action movies make guys stupid.
Chick flicks make girls stupid.

Maybe we should all be forced to switch. I'll watch "a walk to remember" if you'll watch the boondock saints. We can breach this gender gap.
