Hi there. I saw a post you made on a community and clicked over to your journal- don't worry, I'm not a stalker.

This post caught my attention because I am moving to Texas from NY and am use to a liberal culture. Did you write this yourself or get it from a publication? I'm curious because when I do finally settle down I'd like to find out what organizations I can support.

Just stumbled across your journal and read this post mate. I work for a company here in Australia who's head office is based in Texas. For the last 12 months or so, I've been told that I'll be moving to the US soon - as that's where all the senior positions are. As of last night I was informed that now they've done a bit of research - I will not be offered any job in Texas due to my 'personal circumstances'. My intial reaction was outrage, but after reading your post things kinda make sense - maybe we should all be saying to ourselves that there are much nicer places in the world to live than Texas?

i think maybe they make more money because they aren't married and most don't have kids to use up all their money. x3
