i just got home from day one of Barista Jam 2004 with Zoka Coffee and now i am so inspired to focus on my technique and style at Bibo. :)))) I NEED to work on my latte art. errrrrrrg Definitely not winning the competition in that area tomorrow. But all in all, i had a fun time. Worked on my timing, dosing and leveling of shots, worked on foaming

do they teach you how to make cookies at barista jam??
beucase seriously, katie. those oatmeal peanut butter chocolate chunk cookies?? BEST I'VE EVER HAD! no joke. i want to know who makes those. that day i bought one when you were there (and an antioxiDANCE!haha), was my first day of eating that kind of cookie... it turned out to be the best cookie EVER. of oatmeal p.b. chocolate (though i don't remember ever having that kind of cookie before), of ALL COOKIES! except some homemade ones that are fresh out of the oven, beucase it's just like, you know.
but really, after that day, i went back the next day and got another one, and i've had 2 more since after that. each time i've picked my sister up from the tree lot (she works at that one by the entrance to the ridge), i've made sure to go up there.

ah! i was wondering why only that jar was so low! hahahhaha that is so funny! i'm glad you like them though. :) don't feel bad, either, cause it's better for us to sell them than NOT, you know?

how are YOU doing jenna? i havn't seen you in SO long... I went to the yac christmas party thingy the other week and you werent there! :( and i went to group monday of last week, but i didnt go yesterday cause i had a HUGE final today and NEEEEEDED to study.

so, how much do the trees cost down there? i think we're gonna get ours there! maybe today!

it's low cuz those cookies are bomb! i haven't had one in some time now... but everyone else likes them the best i bet!

i am doing WELL. long time, yes yes yes. i was at the yac at ceri's last week though when bud was there! it was really nice with most back from school and such-- and to have bud there. i was like 90 minutes late, but it was still cool. i didn't go tonight though because i'm in portland. but i'll be there next week!

um. don't know! but i know you bought one! lol my sister told me. haha, she's shy and got home and was like, "your friend katie came and bought a tree! and they knew i was your sister! how did they know?"
