For Heaven's Gate!

I keep seeing adverts for 'Eternity Moment', the new Calvin Klein fragrance that looks and smells like urine after someone's eaten beetroot. How can eternity be a moment?! I want to find the ad exec responsible, and clobber them. First, though, I'd like to track down 'My Awesome Compilation', the most poorly-named Emo band since 'From First to Last ( Read more... )

I have never not once peed pink after eating beetroot. Not even when I ate five in one go.

Really? Wow!

When I worked at the doctor's surgery, we'd get people coming in all the time thinking they had a haematuria, not realising the effect beetroot had on one's urine.

I hate all perfume ads!!!

And i don't think i've met anyone thats managed to keep a Bonsai tree alive. Are you sure you recorded JJ72 too fast? i mean the lead singers voice had a tendency to sound high pitch like a chipmunks. Poor jj72, all their male fans seem to have deserted them since Hilary left.

And was it H&M's extreme flared jeans that you recommended to me?
Sorry being very random today! :)

No, it was definitely recorded at high speed. It's actually quite hilarious, especially hearing Mark Greaney squeak out 'We don't need oxygen!' three octaves higher than normal.

Yep, it was Extreme Flared jeans. If you like, I'll take a picture of me wearing them so you can see what style they are.

See, the reason I didn't go to Oxford wasn't because I couldn't get in. It was because Oxford lack an H&M. Really. ;)

Leeds have two, although nothing compares to London. There are two branches on Oxford Street and one on neighbouring Regent Street, and that's just the West End!

You know, when I stayed with my family in Florence a couple years ago, I was amused to see that my cousin (also named Angela) had a huge (and hugely 80s) poster of Spandau Ballet still up in her room. :P

My Aunt Angela used to joke that all the food she cooked had dog food in it, and tell me that if I squeezed her cat John hard enough, his guts would come out and attack me. Clearly, you're the only sane Angels I know.

The Spandau Ballet poster is being defaced with permanent marker as we speak.

I'm terrible when it comes to stationary shopping -- always ending up with a bunch of crap I don't need, and none of the useful items I do.

Have fun at Target; I was amazed at how huge the place was when I visited the States. You could get lost in there!

ive been finding some rather wierd shit too, several million half-eaten now soggy packs of gum. A collection of diet coke bottle lids. pictures of richey edwards. badge from sainsburys. bottle opener from the metropolitan police. discworld posters.. lots of strange stuff. I find it hard to part with too.

I'll happily take your Discworld posters. ;)

Also found was a packet of liquefied glucose tablets, that must have originated from a restrictive phase I went through at UCL two years ago. Needless to say, they won't be coming to Leeds with me!

When are you off to Aberystwyth?
