Another embarrassing 'this only happens to me' moment.

I was once mistaken for "member of staff" purely for wearing a shirt and long coat at a train station and was thus asked if a train was going to such-and-such a place. The lady seemed to take my bemusement and attempt at saying "I don't know" as a positive answer and duly boarded the train.

Heh, my my mother works freelance and I'm always taking calls for her at home. I think the people who call up think I'm the worst secretary ever.

Why does she always have to be out shopping when somebody named Syjvachikeck Gyvniski is making an international phonecall, rendering "she should be back in a bit" a pretty feeble response? Grar!

I believe H&M are opening another shop in Broad Street, opposite Waterstones. Whether they'll move there, or have two stores, I don't know.

I keep getting confused with people who work in shops, too. Even shops that have uniforms that I'M CLEARLY NOT WEARING. GRR.

The people I work with that have severe learning disabilities go to this social club thing called Gateway every Friday. Service users pay about 50p to get in, and carers get in for free. One week Kelly and I took a few of them, and they mistook Kelly for a service user and asked her to pay. I'm sure that has to be far more embarrassing than being mistaken for a Woolworth's employee.
