More 'symbiotically linked' to LJ than addicted to it...
Basically, bold the things you agree with:
1. If you can't access the site, you have a minor freak out - and a major case of hitting reload.
2. You found yourself composing journal entries during dates, movies, even sex! (Not that I've been getting any of those three things lately...)
3. When you're out, you suddenly think of a witty reply to a comment somebody made to you... several days ago.
4. You actually call it LJ and not Livejournal.
5. You've downloaded some sort of LJ program which has only the purpose of making entries easier to write without going on the site manually. Or did, but now have a link to update.bml in Firefox.
6. You consider it a great offense if someone deletes you off their friends list.
7. The first thing you do every day when you go online is check your friends journals - even before checking your email.
8. You actually paid money for a few extra pictures with a full account when you could actually just alternate pics when you want to for your screen icons.
9. When your friends ask what's new, you get mad at them because you already wrote it in your LJ and they didn't check it yet.
10. You have put more time into LJ than all your assignments for the semester.
11. You have more friends on LJ than in real life.
12. You've met at least 50% of your LJ friends.
13. You can't seem to call your friends by their real names - only LJ names will do.

16. You are guilty of traveling more than an hour to meet someone with LiveJournal. (Extra points for traveling five hours or more) (What about travelling for 16 hours?!)
17. You've written a protected entry about one of your LiveJournal friends. (Extra points if they eventually found out about it)
18. You have written posts to notify people you're going to sleep.
19. You talk about your LJ friends to your real life friends all the time... like they're a part of your group.
20. You've created a LJ community, and people actually post in it. (Three, actually.)
21. You've been recognized in real life by a fellow LJ'er.
22. You have friended someone because of their LiveJournal icon.
23. You have "pity friends" on your list, who you would defriend if you could. (If anyone gets to that stage, I defriend them. If I know I won't read someone's posts and care about them, then what's the point in friending them?)
24. You've pimped one of your friends on journal, trying to get people to friend him/her.
25. Instead of doing research, you post difficult questions on your LiveJournal.
26. Your pets all have their own LiveJournals.
27. You know, right now, how many people have friended you (without peeking).
28. You've stopped being friends with someone in real life because of something they've said on LJ. (And unfriended them on LJ, too...)
29. You're guilty of posting sexy or nude pictures to get more people to friend you. (I don't think photos of my slippers and cat count as 'sexy or nude'.)
30. You have consoled yourself after a horrible day thinking "At least this will make a great LJ post"
31. You're jealous of people who have more friends and/or comments than you.
32. You have written a really great, solid post - only to be disappointed by the lack of good comments.
33. You're guilty of commenting excessively to get more traffic to your journal.

41. You actually get these jokes and pass them on to other friends who are LJ addicts - some of them, anyway!
This is shameful. Although I have been on LJ for three years now, so our relationship has outlived any of my romantic ones. Which is, honestly, quite scary.
Due to a spurious moment in Argos, I bought a reduced-price mahogany CD tower for £12.99 and spent most of the day putting it together, and getting high off glue fumes. "This will look so good in my room!" I thought, and then realised the glue took 18 hours to dry and I leave at 7am tomorrow.
And Liz took me to Old Siam where we had the 'banquette' (enough Thai food to feed an army, including six main courses, three noodle dishes and enough coconut milk to lynch a tropical island for) so I'm too full of carbohydrate to finish packing. It's not like I haven't had time to do this!
The laptop is packed, I'm off to bed then off to Leeds, and don't know when I'll update next. So take care, and expect lots of backdated comments in a few days time. :)
