It is best to get a blood test just in case, and if it will put your mind at rest.

As far as tips for enduring them, i look away and count backwards from 10, or in case the persson who's taking your blood is taking their sweet time then it might be worth counting backwards from 20 :)

And computers always seem to have such great timing when it comes to screwing up!

when getting blood drawn, i usually look the other way and hold my breath until i feel the prick of the needle.

i don't have a prolem with looking at blood, i don't have a problem with needles; i just know that if i watch them stick me, then i will tenze up more than i should, and it just might hurt more.

good luck on solving your sickness mystery.

Does anyone have any tips for enduring blood tests?
I'm prone to fainting so my blood test, shot, etc endurance method is to lie down with my feet up and a pillow over my head while someone else tells me a story. Yes, I'm a wimp.

It could very well be stress but it's always good to go get it checked out. I hope whatever it is you start feeling better soon.

It could be because you've stopped eating properly.

just what i was thinking..sounds exactly like what happens to me if i'm not eating enough (in terms of calories OR just amount of food..i had a phase of living on jaffa cakes, toffee cake & microwave meals out of pure laziness and would get all the shakiness/insomnia etc etc because my blood sugar levels were going insane the whole time..)

always good to get things checked though :)
..blood tests - i'm a masochist! i make myself watch the whole process just to prove to myself that i can, heh.. more logically, look the other way, perhaps bring something you can fiddle with in your other hand, just to shift the concentration off icky-veiny-wierdness!
