You're thinking of me as sensai? You are so screwed.
Looks ok to me, but run it by your real teachers first. The date at the end confuses me a bit. I'm assuming that's her birthday, so I'd add something to clarify that like 私の愛した娘の誕生日は八月九日ですor 私の可愛い娘は二00六年八月九日で生まれました。Keep in mind, you really don't need the "I/My" since it is you speaking.
