As we all know, many canons have characters that are super powered and strong, while some have just normal people. If you threw these kinds of people all together and let them just go at it, there would be a very boring and predictable outcome, wouldn't there? It's like playing Monopoly, and two people have houses on all the good spaces, while two others haven't gotten any good decent spots.
Despite what you may be thinking, no, we will not be taking away your character's powers! And we won't even be permanently limiting them!
The revival process is rather tricky, you see, and there's a good chance you've been dead for a while. It simply wasn't possible to revive your character from their untimely death and return all of the amazing powers and abilities to them. Too much work, you see. However, don't worry! Your character will begin Igura with their powers limited, but over time, as their bodies loosen up and the juices really start flowing, their powers will slowly return to their normal selves. Slowly does mean a few months, though, and not a few weeks.
For example: Let's say your character was a world famous track runner with amazing speed. After their revival and entrance into Igura, they would still be decently fast and have good stamina, but they wouldn't be anywhere near their prime. They might get muscle cramps (dead muscle being... not so dead anymore) and aches, or something of that nature while running.
For characters with magical powers, the magic would still be there, but limited as well. Right away, they might only be able to conjure a fireball the size of a fist rather than a fireball the size of a house. Everything would follow along that logic!
But what about normal characters? Well, normal characters might be easily fatigued, slower than usual, etc. There's not too much to do to them because they're all normal and such.
