Requesting Assistance

I'm in the beginning stages of planning a project loosely related to my University degree, and I was hoping that all of you could do me a tiny favor. If you have seen any well made documentaries/movies/TV programs covering the following topics could you tell me their names, please?

Sadly, I don't watch many documentaries and then never remember the names.

I know PBS aired a documentary on mash units in the gulf currently last year.

And 1 or 2 xmases ago i watched one on pbs about climate change and it's effect on the penguins in the antartic.

I don't have a netflix account so I didn't think of it. I went through the Discovery channel site and the History channel, and Amazon is next... but it is hard to say whether or not anything will actually be good based on the word of random strangers, so I was hoping the my F-list could point me in the direction of anything they found good. If I am putting money down on something I want a real recommendation, not one from some random guy in wisconsin.

There's a pseudo-documentary called "Who Killed the Electric Car" - don't know if it's what you're looking for, but it talks about some of the fuel issues from the 90's, I think it was and this concept 'electric' car.
